Day 444
Second Beach
We had stopped early as Tom was in full photography mode. Our diversion was taking us deep into vampire country, or where the series Twilight was filmed. My friend Ashley kindly pointed this out to us as neither Tom or I have seen the series. Now here I have a confession. After checking into the campsite, and making lunch I started to feel tired. I had been flying along and was somewhat frustrated at the early finish. Then I went from full of fizz to full on sleepy in a flash. I blame those vampires. Tom rode the 6 miles to the beach to check it out, and was blown away. He cycled 6 miles back, ready to get all his camera equipment and me. My body wasn’t playing ball. Despite making me eat some more all I wanted to do was sleep. So I didn’t actually get to see the latest addition to our Top Ten places of the trip and Tom cycled the 12 mile round trip again. I had a brilliant nap mind!
