Minerales
Today we went to the Museo de Minerales Andrés del Castillo. Debs thought it was ok, but went for a coffee after half an hour! Two hours later I emerged, my jaw still scraping the floor. The minerals and displays in this place were incredible and blew my mind. To me they represent a whole new form of ‘life’ in this universe and are very moving and thought provoking. I wish I could have used a tripod to get the photos, as although the lighting was great, hand-held pictures don’t quite capture the beauty of these things. I took a lot of photos though! To me, this place alone is worth coming to Peru for, everything else is a bonus.
